Privacy policy

Views Creative is the business this website promotes and is the organisation responsible for the personal information collected here. Enquiries are answered by Views Creative from Thunder Bay.

Superior Scale designed, built and operates this website for Views Creative. Superior Scale is a service provider: it maintains the site, its hosting and its enquiry form, and its staff can access enquiry data only where that is needed to keep the site working or to fix a problem. Superior Scale does not use enquiry data for its own purposes, does not sell it, and does not add anyone to its own mailing lists.

Both parties handle personal information in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Privacy contact: Marco — Owner, Views Creative — viewmarco08@gmail.com, (807) 355-9770. Website and technical contact: Superior Scale — viewmarco08@gmail.com. Neither party publishes a street address on this site; a mailing address is available on request.

Views Creative decides why information is collected and uses it to reply to you and arrange shoots. Superior Scale processes it only on instruction — building the form, keeping the site online, and handling delivery of the enquiry to the Views Creative inbox — under a confidentiality obligation and for no other purpose.

If Superior Scale stops operating this website, its access to enquiry data ends and any copies held for maintenance purposes are deleted.

The only personal information this site collects is what you type into the booking enquiry form: your name, email address, phone number (if you provide one), the project type, your preferred shoot date and time, any timeline notes, your message, and whether you opted in to occasional updates. We use it for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and arrange a shoot.

Please do not include sensitive information — health details, financial account numbers, or government identifiers — in the form.

The form itself is collected and handled by Superior Scale, which designed, built and runs this website for Views Creative. It uses what you send for two things only: passing your enquiry to Views Creative so you get a reply, and understanding how the enquiry form is used so the site and the booking experience can be improved. Your information is never sold, rented or traded to anyone, and it is never used to advertise anything unrelated to your enquiry.

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for automated decision-making, and we do not build advertising profiles.

This website does not process payments, store credit card numbers, or collect any financial information. If a shoot is booked, payment is arranged separately by invoice, e-transfer, or another method agreed directly between you and Views Creative.

We do not send bulk or unsolicited marketing emails. We only email people who have contacted us first through this form, by email, or by phone. The optional checkbox on the form is the only way we add someone to an occasional-update list, and it is unchecked by default. Every update email includes an unsubscribe link.

Submitting the enquiry form is your consent to be contacted about that specific enquiry. Marketing updates require a separate, unchecked opt-in on the form, and you can withdraw either consent at any time by emailing viewmarco08@gmail.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect work already agreed in a signed contract.

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies, and no third-party tracking pixels. It uses one piece of essential browser storage: a session-storage key (vc-intro-played) that remembers whether the opening animation has already played, so it does not replay on every page you view. It contains no personal information and it is cleared when you close the tab.

Because only essential storage is used, no consent banner is imposed. If analytics are ever added, consent will be requested before anything fires and this section will be updated first.

Enquiries are delivered to the Views Creative inbox, and pass through the hosting platform Superior Scale uses to serve this site. Hosting and email providers may process data outside Canada, which means it can be subject to the laws of the country where it is stored. We use reputable providers and share your information with no one else, unless we are legally required to.

Superior Scale serves the site over HTTPS, validates submissions on the server, sets a strict content security policy, and rate-limits the form to limit automated abuse. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at Views Creative who need it to answer you, plus Superior Scale staff maintaining the site.

Enquiries are kept for 12 months unless they turn into a booking, in which case the related records are kept for as long as business and tax records require and then securely deleted. Marketing consent records are kept until you unsubscribe, plus a reasonable period afterwards as proof of consent.

You can ask for access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email viewmarco08@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.

If you contact us from the European Union or the United Kingdom, we rely on your consent, or on our legitimate interest in answering a business enquiry, as the legal basis for handling your information. You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you can withdraw consent at any time by emailing viewmarco08@gmail.com.

This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If a shoot involves minors, written consent is obtained from a parent or guardian before any image is used.

If this policy changes materially, the updated date at the top of this page changes with it.
